Feherty has a new book out...a compilation of his writings since 2004. Favorite quote: "I designed a course down in Medllin, Colombia, a few years back for Pablo Escobar. He named it 'Nostrils' Golf Club and Spa. It was only two holes."

I have read a lot of his books. Last one was 'A nasty Bit of Rough", pretty funny with lots of weird characters.

Gotta love Feherty. He and McCord make golf fun and intereesting when the two of them get at it.

Made the mistake of keeping this book in my cubicle at work and reading it sporadically. When I got to the story about Payne Stewart putting a groundhog (unbeknownst to Feherty) in Feherty's hotel room at a La Quinta and sticking a pair of Feherty's underwear on it, I let out one of those involuntary spasms of forced laughter that's quite embarrassing. I literally had to calm myself down, take a few breaths, then pull the book out again and try to make it through the story. Couldn't do it. It took four efforts to read the anecdote quietly. ***note: Stewart had accidentally hit the groundhog with his car and brought it (presumably dead) to Feherty's room, where it got one last gasp of life and lunged at Feherty, attired in his underwear.
